Welcome to Primary 2!

I hope everyone had an enjoyable October break! This term we will continue to develop out literacy and numeracy skills. The children are making such excellent progress in their reading and writing! We are continuing to develop our counting and addition strategies through mental maths games and number songs.

Our pupils will continue to have opportunities to learn through play-based learning as we explore our termly topic: Fire Fire! The children will also learn how to build dens independently in the outdoor classroom and become more independent in their use of outdoor equipment. We will also be working really hard to prepare for our school nativity in December!
