Welcome to Mrs Eddie’s P1 class. In P1 we take a practical approach to teaching and learning allowing our pupils to find fun and excitement in their learning everyday! 

Our topic this half term is ‘People Who Help Us’.  In this topic we will discuss different people who help us in our community, looking at the job of a dentist, a paramedic and a vet.  As the season is winter, we will be thinking about the weather where we live and investigate how ice is made. 
Through our topic we will have lots of opportunities to engage in Play Based Learning activities both inside the classroom and in our outdoor environment.  As well as this we will be working hard to develop our skills in Literacy, Numeracy and ICT along with our Personal Development and Mutual Understanding and our Thinking Skills and Personal Capabilities.
