P4 Miss Cochrane

Happy New Year everyone!

Welcome back to Miss Cochrane's P4 class! We are starting off this term with some more Home learning and looking forward to beginning our next topic ‘Houses and homes’. We will be learning about the different types of homes, designing our own dream house and reading different fairytales and discussing which characters live in which type of house.

This term we are very lucky as we have not one but two really fun topics!! After learning about ‘Houses and Homes’ we will be moving on to our next topic ‘World War 2’. We will be learning lots of facts about what happened in World War 2, key historical figures such as Winston Churchill, historic events and completing lots of fun, art activities. Keep your eyes peeled to see what we are getting up to!

We are also very excited to be starting our new class novel ‘The Twits’ and learning lots about those two very interesting characters. As well as this we will be working hard with our numeracy and literacy tasks and continuing to develop our ICT skills every week in the ICT suite!

Despite the current uncertainty we are very much looking forward to everyone being back together in our P4 classroom soon and sharing our Christmas stories together. For now we are staying safe, working hard with both home learning and in school and continuing to be resilient and working together to be the best we can be!
