3D shape

16th Oct 2020

We have been busy in P1 learning about 3D shapes. We have discovered that, unlike 2D shapes that are flat, 3D shapes are solid shapes that we can lift and hold in our hands. Each 3D shape has different properties and we have been learning how to describe these. We investigated each shape, tried building models with them, sorted the shapes in different ways and even played a game with the feely box where we had to only use our hands to feel the shapes and find the correct one.
