At the minute P1 are learning all about the season of Winter, with a focus on the story of Frozen. In our play based learning we are building Elsa's castle, making snowflakes and snowmen with play doh, retelling the story of Frozen and taking on the roles of different characters in our small world and role play areas, and playing in the 'snow' in our sand tray.
We have also been learning to recognise and discuss the signs of Winter, as well as conducting freezing and melting experiments. Take a look at our photos!
